The front and rear metallic DustGrabber™ surfaces on above IG-133DG ionizers are silver. Coloration is due to lighting and/or reflected surrounding objects.

Note: the CFE-2 ion emitter near the top of the left photo has been in continuous use for a long time, so that the fine strands would show up here. A CFE-2 that has never been used appears different. In a new CFE-2 emitter, many of the finer strands often can only be seen when held near a strong light. The appearance does not affect the output of negative ions.
