Plan Ahead. The Air Probe Sanitizer Whole-House Ultraviolet-C Germicidal disinfection system Fights germs.
Germicidal effect disinfects the air
.

Scientists believe that a contributing factor to the prevalence of the flu in wintertime is reduced ultraviolet-C (UV-C) rays in winter.

The deadly H5N1 bird flu virus matches the seasonal peak for common human influenza viruses.

Pandemic: An epidemic of infectious disease that spreads through human populations across a large region of the world

the Original Air Probe Sanitizer (tm) germicidal ultraviolet light purifierAre You Prepared for a H1N1 Swine Flu, Bird Flu or other "Superbug" Pandemic?

Installing the safe, powerful Air Probe Sanitizer™ ultraviolet central air disinfection purifier is a
Highly Effective way to help prevent and stop the spread of deadly influenza pandemics (and other contagious diseases and sicknesses) indoors.

About the Bird Flu Virus

The H5N1 Bird Flu virus is highly lethal. This influenza pathogen has a high capacity to overcome body defenses and either make a person very sick or cause death.
  • Of the first 132 or so known human cases of bird flu, the H5N1 avian influenza virus has killed around 50% of the people infected with it.
  • In contrast, the 1918 Spanish Flu (the last major pandemic) killed only about 2% of those infected.

Masks have been shown to be ineffective against anything but anthrax spores.

The Air Probe Sanitizer's Powerful, Optimized Pure Germicidal Ultraviolet-C light deactivates:

  • Deadly Bacteria and Viruses including the
    H1N1 Swine Flu
    H5N1 Bird Flu Virus

  • TB (Tuberculosis)
    • The worst forms of the killer tuberculosis bug have been gaining ground in the US.

  • "Superbugs" such as C-Diff

  • SARS

  • Mumps

  • ANY other Airborne Bacteria or Germ

  • Biological Weapons

Model E-200 with 2 germicidal ultraviolet lights installed

The Air Probe Sanitizer's Superior UV-C lamp kills or de-activates Bacteria, Viruses and other primitive organisms,

Even if the organisms have become immune to antibiotics and other disinfection methods.

Also kills mold spores such as stachybotrys and black mold as they circulate through your ducts and past the Powerful, Optimized Air Probe Sanitizer Ultraviolet-C Germicidal Lamps.

Safe, Purifying Hydroxyls generated by the UV-C lamps continue to kill pathogens in the air even if they are not exposed to the germicidal UV rays.

Question & Answers about UV-C

"Air Probe Sanitizer"
is a Trademark
Q: How can UV-C rays kill viruses and bacteria?

A: 1. Either by direct destruction or the alteration of the organism's DNA or RNA. Either way ensures a halt to the pathogen's* ability to reproduce and infect.

2. Hydroxyls generated by the UV-C lamps continue to kill pathogens in the air even if they are not exposed to the germicidal ultraviolet rays.

Q: Is the Air Probe Sanitizer really that effective?

A: Yes. The special UV lamps can render airborne pathogens* –that can make a person very sick– completely harmless (see above Q&A) so that you are not infected.
And it does not require expensive or smelly catalysts to be effective.
Air is circulated past the powerful germicidal ultraviolet-C lamps again and again by your air handler's existing fan.
Just one of these lamps emits 2,500 times the UV-C power that reaches the earth's surface on a sunny day.

However, no one should carelessly assume that no disease-causing organism will EVER get past the UV probes. For example, large spores (such as anthrax) may require two passes or more past the Air Probe Sanitizer's lamps to be rendered ineffective. How effective it is depends somewhat on how close to the lamps the air flow is, how much killing time it has, the model installed, and other factors such as the type of disease-causing organism.
And no informed person can guarantee (without lying to you) that any germicidal ultraviolet lamp installation, etc. will keep a family one hundred percent safe from the bird flu or any other pandemic, because no one lives in a bubble.
But Comtech Research stands by its firm conviction that the Air Probe Sanitizer is THE best indoor solution. Period.
And there is much information and proof on this site that the Original Air Probe Sanitizer™ is as superb as we and our customers say it is.

Q: How can I optimize the air disinfecting germ-killing effect?

A: 1. Keep the air flowing past the Air Probe Sanitizer so that the UV has every chance to be at optimum benefit. This will also ensure that disinfecting hydroxyls are present in the environment. If you don't want to leave your fan on high, or you don't already have a factory variable-speed fan motor, then we offer an excellent product: the FanHandler™, that quietly and economically keeps the air gently flowing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

      2. If the inside of the duct or air handler in the vicinity of the UV lamps is not already lined with something that reflects UV-C, then line it with some thin reflective duct liner or thin uncoated aluminum sheeting. (Cover the corners and seams with aluminum foil tape.) This will cause the UV-C rays to reflect and bounce around, rather than be absorbed by non-reflective insulation, etc. and generate more hydroxyl ions.

*Pathogens: Bacteria, Viruses, Germs, etc. They are effectively rendered harmless by the Air Probe Sanitizer in a properly installed and operating system.

Q: Where can the Air Probe Sanitizer be installed?

A: In almost any home or commercial building (large or small) that has heating and/or air conditioning ducts.
   Other frequently asked questions

Q: Will the Air Probe Sanitizer prevent AIDS?

A: No. Since the HIV virus is transmitted through blood transfusions or other body fluids through person-to-person contact, no air purifier, including any ultraviolet radiation, can ever prevent AIDS.

Q: If someone infected with a disease walks into my house and sneezes in my face (maybe while I'm inhaling deeply), will the Air Probe Sanitizer™ keep me from catching it even then?

A: Of course, in that situation, the answer is no. There is no such thing as an invisible, impenetrable barrier between you and every germ. Another person who coughs or shakes hands can be the immediate culprit who spreads a particular disease before it ever has a chance to become airborne and pass through the ducts in a central heat or air conditioner system past the UV lights (or destroyed by hydroxyl ions generated by the UV light).

See the other Q & A here to see that it still can be very effective.
